Harrisons Could Announce By October
Andrew and Aaron Harrison could announce their college choice as soon as this fall.
“It’s around that time,” Aaron Harrison Sr. told SNY.tv Thursday, confirming comments he made to the Kentucky Rivals site. “Their birthday is Oct. 28. They want to get it done before the high school season starts.”
The twins are down to four final schools, Maryland, Baylor, Kentucky and Villanova and Aaron Sr. said they would visit three or four of them this summer.
“We’re going to visit Villanova and that’s going to be the first week of July,” Aaron Sr. said. “And then Maryland will be that same week.
“As far as Kentucky goes, I don’t know about that. We’ve been there twice already and my wife’s been there. It’s something we’ve already done. My wife has talked to the coaches and given them the third degree. We may visit there again and we may not.
“As far as Baylor goes that may be the end of June.”

Yea, I am sure they will enjoy the game on TV in College Park.

Not sure when he'll contribute but 2012 Maryland commit Damonte Dodd us most certainly better than advertised. Long, lanky with fluidity.

I'm trying to figure out how Demonte Dodd stayed under the radar for so long. 6-9. Mobile and can board it. Maryland has a lot to work with.

Damonte Dodd verbally committed to the Maryland men's basketball team earlier this spring. At least for the next season, his plans have changed.
Dodd, a raw 6-foot-10 forward for Queen's Anne County High School, will attend prep school for the 2012-13 basketball season, a source familiar with the situation told CSNwashington.
Slated to be part of the Terps incoming class, Dodd played with the other future Terps at the Capital Classic last month where he said it was a matter of time before he signed his official Letter of Intent.

Well that sucks. Hopefully it's a one year thing to get his eligibility thing handled and he will be a part of the '13 class.

Fwiw, folks who cover Kentucky basketball believe that Maryland leads for the Harrison twins.
Key factors include the family angle, Bino Ranson and Shaq Cleare and the fact that Papa Harrison loves Maryland.

I think it is more that he has a great amount of respect for Mark Turgeon which came about from his days at A&M.

Which Kentucky folks? Haven't heard that at all from from the UK side.
And I know a week is an eternity in recruiting, but here's this:

Gun to head? I think it's UK. RT @Slow30 do you see the Harrison twins as a virtual UK lock?
