Default Darrell Green's Son tries out for Carolina Panthers

Jared Green is undrafted from Southern University. He is a 6'1" WR with a 4.33 40 time, just .04 off his dad in his prime.

Obviously he must be a very raw prospect, but it would have been fun to see him work out in Washington:

Here's a highlight video. I'm not a scout, but this kid looks like he makes some very nice cuts:

He is a total long shot. He never made a name for himself at UVA...and never quite impressed Coach London. Even after transferring to Southern for playing time, he only managed 17 catches last season. He is quick, but doesn't have the football skills his dad had...

I couldn't agree more. What puzzles me is that he showed the ability to gain separation, and cut on a dime. I'm wondering if that can be coached in to him. I'm not lobbying for him, but 6'1" with 4.33 speed is not common.

Very surprised Allen didn't atleast invite him to tryout for skins since his dad is one of the greatest to wear burgundy and gold ever
