Yep - to Glasgow Rangers...
Spain getting a fair bit of stick from sections of the media over here for their slightly-less-than-direct style of footie. It's a bit rich bearing in mind England's contribution to the highlights reel
I'm all for possession football but I do think the media have a point. The more I see of Spain the more I'm convinced they are the Atlanta Falcons of world football...

Don't think anyone saw that coming...
As dominant as the Germans have been over the past 40 years, it's incredible that they still can't put the Italians away when it really matters...

Congrats to Spain as well. A truly dominating squad.
In other news...
1.. Michael Bradley is heading to Roma! Glad to see the American get some much needed European experience. Spicy - how will he fit into the team's plans?
2. Juve bids 10M for VanPersie. I get that age, time on existing contract and wages are all factored here in the offer, but 10M bid is laughable.
3. I still hate Torres.

Great news for Bradley. Had seen the rumor, but not confirmation.

SI.com's Grant Wahl tweeted that there are only minor items to confirm...but its virtually a done deal.
AVB to Spurs rumors also heating up...
...as are Clint Dempsey to Liverpool.

I love having our guys play with the best in the world. It can only make the national team better.

Apparently Bradley had a very good season with Chievo. I imagine that he ideally would be either the first or second guy off the bench for one of the two lateral midfield roles in Zeman's 4-3-3.
At this point we have DeRossi, Pjanic and Marquinho who seemed locked into the starting spots. Gago's future is still unclear, and we have Florenzi, who had an amazing year in Serie B, who is coming back from a loan to Crotone.
So, assuming no other moves (although I am hoping that we can sign 1 very good midfielder), it would seem he should get plenty of opportunities for playing time, certainly ahead of guys like Perrotta, Simplicio and Greco, who are on the way out.

AVB seems about as solid a bet as you could make right now. It's not just rumors that he's signed, but that he's already involved in transfers. Thought Presser was going to be today.
I'd like Clint at Liverpool. It will be tougher to see the field there, but as long as he can get a run, I'm good with it.

Agreed. I'd argue that Baby Bradley may be the most important player we have over the next 10 years. I know our forwards aren't great, but we have sorely needed a middie that can help control the tempo and keep the ball moving. I think he can be that anchor to give us some stability.

I have a bridge to sell you if you believe that rumor.

He was fantastic for Chievo, even if he goes to Roma, he won't stay long. He's a giant milan fan and is openly begging them for a chance lol.

I disagree. If Liverpool uses him like the NT does, I think he could easily supplant Downing on the left wing and be a wide attacking option. Downing can play either side of the field so he could still be an option on the right wing if they need a true crossing winger (in theory). Downing was a colossal failure last season and Clint becomes a major upgrade and would see field every week as a starter. Liverpool would be a much better club for him when it comes to playing time; much better than any of the other big English clubs. Perfect fit...

Juve has a history of making ridiculous player/cash bids so I tend to believe it. I also believe they will make a ridiculous player/cash bid for Suarez over the weekend that will continue to show how ridiculous they are during transfer windows.

Is Christian Poulsen still at Duvet then...?
