Default Josh Gordon, ex Baylor WR... New Redskin?

Anyone know anything about Gordon? I've read he looks the part (6'4, 4.3 40) and he's played with RG3. Maybe a get for us?

Link.

I came to ask the same question. Guy is 6'4" and ran a low 4.3. If RG3 signs off on it, i'd say it could be worth it to use maybe a 4th or 5th on the guy. Maybe even a 3rd, but since we don't have the luxury of draft picks i'm hesitant to use anything that high.

If he is still available in the 6th round I think we should take a flier on him.

Baylor had pure speed at wideout. 6'4 and 4.3 speed with a known connection between QB & WR - Why not?

Don't think it works that way. If I recall, you essentially make a silent bid of the player. All 32 teams can make the bid. If everyone bids a 5th, and you bid a 3rd. You win. If two teams make the lowest round bid, it comes to draft order. Whoever has the lower draft order, wins the bid.

There is no fanfare or glamour like the normal NFL draft.

I would be curious to know if RGIII invited Josh Gordon to participate in his "passing camp" at Baylor. I saw a mention that Terrance Gannaway worked out a little bit at the camp.

Skins were at his workout. Probably doing their due diligence, but who knows? Maybe they want to give RG3 a guy he's familiar with.

Lazy, I-should-look-it-up-myself question: What are his off-the-field issues?

Him and a teammate fell asleep in a taco bell drive thru. The cop found a lot of pot in his car.

Richardson, Weeden, and now Gordon. The Cleveland offense might actually be up to pop warner standards now.
