Default Crazy Sean Taylor Idea

I don't know if the players even read this board, I doubt it, but I have a crazy idea maybe someone could pass along.

Years later, outrage over the Sean Taylor murder has died down.

I don't know how the defendants wouldn't be convicted, but it would be cool if, at sentencing, the WHOLE Redskins team was standing in the room in their jerseys to make sure there is plenty of public attention on the matter, and the judge cannot get away with letting these murderers off easy.

It seems like NFL players use their celebrity--rightly--for so many altruistic causes. It would be cool if they used it to insure justice for one of their own.

In a perfect world, Snyder would charter a jet for the entire team, which would then appear in the courtroom during sentencing.

Just an idea. Maybe it stinks. But nothing wrong with brainstorming.

Taking five years or however long it has been to get to trial is a travesty.

One other thing.
I have never subscribed to the worship of NFL players or other stars.
They are just people, granted very talented people.
I have never asked a celebrity to take a photo with me, nor asked one for an autograph, and never will.
But man I loved watching Sean Taylor play, and the refreshing humility he had developed, the gratitude for making a king's ransom to play a child's game.
To me, he's right up there with Riggins, Cooley, and only a handful of Redskins who had true panache and charisma and exceptional talent on the field.
The only three Redskins jerseys I would ever buy are Riggins, Cooley, or Taylor, and maybe Green.
Anyhoo, it is oft repeated what a tragedy his death was, but a time is approaching when that nostalgia can be used to practical effect--to make sure the bastard ass thugs who killed him get life in prison and get to spend the rest of their life tossing salads.

I think publicity will really start picking up once the trial gets moving. I'm definitely not a law expert, but my guess is you'd like to avoid creating a circus. These guys will pay.

i suspect of the guy's lawyers heard a faint idea of this happening, they address it with the judge asap! besides, other than the taylor family, don't local citizens have more of a right to be there than the whole redskins team would?
i think these kids are gonna get the book thrown at them regardless.

If found guilty, just duct tape them to a blocking sled for next training camp. I apologize to all lawyers on this forum. Sometimes I have a perverse sense of justice.
