Default Fan " Appreciation Day" = Pathetic

Today's Fan Appreciation day to me was a joke. It was a practice with a few things for kids to do. The autographs that were mentioned that would be available was a shoving match that pitted grown men vs little kids. Why would they not set up the tables with 5 players per table and form a line as they have done before. With the team knowing that there was going to be a record crowd they did a pathetic job of showing "appreciation" to all of us who stood outside for hours in the heat hoping to get an autograph from RGIII. It took a long time but I have finally realized that the Redskins care nothing about the fans but care a lot about the money the fans will spend. Last time Danny gets a penny from me!

Any Redskins event that has offered autographs that I've ever been to has been like that............ From Draft Day Parties to Redskins 80th...... I guess the only exception would be Beach Blitz when they only let like the first 200-some people get the autographs

They used to set up tables for players to sign and fans to lineup for. But they stopped it for some reason.

I got Portis's autograph at a best buy one time. It was an organized event. The line was approximately 20 minutes. That worked out well, probably because Snyder had nothing to do with it.

I wonder who is responsible for these things. It really is shocking that anyone goes to events like this anymore. It's been clear for a while that they are only money making events.

I drove up to the FADs 3 years in a row. Really wasn't worth my time. I'd rather go to another practice to watch with no expectations of anything else. My favorite trip was to Carlisle Pa.

I can't wait till next year when they move TC to Richmond. 3 1/2 hours from my home.

I've never understood why they don't put some bleachers out there. Every other TC I see on TV has them. Why make people stand for 2 hours. Kids can't see.

Bleachers cost money.

Why would anyone expect anything different. Any luxuries cuts into the bottom line. Take a look around, if there is some form of large scale, high visibility entertainment that attracts large crowds, you the individual in the crowd are screwed. Just don't bother to go. The only way I would go is if I had kids that wanted to.

This is one reason I love that the number of seats have been reduced at the game. There are too many people there.
