I guess we can assume it was a drug overdose. What a shame.

Let's not jump to conclusions here, people did with Sean Taylor and they turned out to be completely unfounded.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Reid family. A father should never have to bury his son.

It isn't jumping to conclusions when a young man who spent time in prison on drug charges and is a known addict suddenly dies. Even if it turns out to be a heart condition, it is almost certainly related to his drug use.

What a terrible loss. While there is no love lost between Redskins and Eagles fans, life is more important than football. My heart goes out to Coach Reid and his family.

Yep. People seem to forget his sons past.

Tragic either way.

They do? I haven't read a single thing about his death that didn't mention his drug issues.

But you're right about it being tragic. I can't imagine what Andy's going through.

just sad that people of all colors, creeds, and orgins, find it easier to cope with life under the influence.a kid is dead, and we should all mourn over it.

Does it matter? I lost my wife (unexpectedly) last December & I was amazed at the number of people who asked me "what happened? " I didn't understand (still don't) if my answer was something that was going to make them feel better or they thought they were helping me by getting me to talk about. I guess the manner of death could be comforting to some, but it sure wasn't to me.

I think it only matters because of his past with drugs. Jmo on it.

I remember a few years ago reading that Reid's sons were were large volume drug dealers. Maybe they are better off dead or maybe I'm wrong.
