What are you looking for against the Bills?
What are you looking forward for the 1st preseason game against the Bills?
The game is this thursday at 7pm, and will re-air in NFL Network for us the out of towners (according from what I've seen at nfl.com) Friday at 4pm, Sunday at 6pm and next Wednesday at 10am.
-First of all, no injuries!
-I reeeeaaaallly want to see the new tow, aka RGIII. I want to see his poise, control, swagger, etc., and I do NOT want to see him take a hit, which leads me to:
-A decent performance out of the OL. The starters do not make me sleep well at night, the backups? Oh my... I just hope RGIII doesn't take a beating in his 10-15 snaps, and hopefully we prove to have better depth than last year with LeRibeus, Gettis and Compton (sp?).
-Has T. Williams really become the monster every writer is reporting?
-Alfred Morris... I think this kid will be special.
-Niles Paul transition to TE.
-Moss & Cooley resurgence?
-Is Riley for real? Realey?
-The Safety situation... I think this will be hit or miss this season.
-The Kicking Competition.
I know this will be decided throughout the preseason, and maybe well into the season, but I'm eager to see how it starts to develop on the field.

The only thing to watch is RGIII. If RGIII doesn't develop into a franchise QB it will be more of the same.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Griff doesn't develop into a franchise QB during 15 plays against the Bills.

* I can't wait to see RGIII in action. Not expecting greatness, just good decision making. If the play is not there, then throw it into the ground. I will be delighted if he's 6-10 with about 70 yards. A score would be icing on the cake.
* I am especially looking to see what the 1st & 2nd team front seven does on defense. I want them to wreak havoc this year, and believe they have the personnel, team chemistry and familiarity of the system to do just that.
*Looking to see improvement in the secondary under Morris. From TC reports, it seems like they are more opportunistic. Let's see if they can take advantage of this without getting burnt.
* A good performance with very few penalties, and no stupid ones.
*No injuries

Kicker is another position to watch, btw. I believe both guys are going to get PT tomorrow night.

...and one beautifully thrown deep ball caught perfectly in stride for a TD!

I agree.
i hope the 1st team offense and 1st team defense plays well, and we don't have any injuries to guys that will make the final roster, outside of that everything will be basic stuff in the 1st prer season game, and mostly a vanilla version in all the preseason games.

What worries me is that the team will be 60 minutes older at the end of the game than it was at the start. So much for the Shanahan youth movement, innit...

Looking for how much depth they REALLY lack on the OL. Good chance the guy we see in the 2nd and 3rd quarter will be starting sometime in the course of the season ....

I am glad to finally just our team in action. Give me some RG3 please! I want to see the team walk away with NO injures. I do like watching the guys trying to fight for a roster spot!

Looking to see how our OL protects our investment and his ability to avoid taking too many hits.

I am wacthing for how Kyle may have changed the offense to suit rgIII. Though I will keep an open mind as RGII probably will only get a 1/4 of play
