I had put together several paragraphs about myself and why I have joined, but was asked to log in again and the content was lost (due to a mistake on my part). Perhaps another time... but probably not. e; What I'm having trouble with is adding a custom avatar. Can someone assist me? Anyway, I'm excited about joining this community and look forward to the discussion.

You can't have a custom avatar until you reach a certain number of post.

It's small and I won't say because we had people out there writing one word posts just to get to the number.

I have been coming to this site for years for my skins info and have enjoyed everyones posts .I figured I might as well sign up .I went to Fed Ex last year for Jets and Vikes games last year , was my first time to Fed Ex. It sure wasn't like it was at good ol RFK and that needs to change.Hopefully that can change when we get back to winning.

Texas 'Skins Fan
Hi. I grew up and live in East Texas. I lived in Dallas for 13 years. I have been a Redskins fan since 1982-83. I was a kid just getting into football at that time and my dad and older brother where Cowboys fans. I remember watching the NFC Championship game that year between the ‘skins and ‘boys. I was fascinated with John Riggins and his running style. I began rooting for him and the ‘skins. They won and I remember then pulling for the Jets in the AFC Championship game that followed because I thought the Redskins would have a better chance beating them in the Super Bowl. But Miami won and they played each other in the Super Bowl. I remember vividly watching that game and when Riggins burst around the left side for a TD on a fourth down run, I became a Redskin for life. I have only missed about 4 or 5 games since then and have had many joys and tribulations with this team. I eventually converted my dad to a Redskins fan, but not my stubborn brother. Other than Riggins, my all time favorite Redskins player was Mark Rypien; hence my user name. I also loved Darrell Green, Art Monk and Gary Sanders. On the current roster, I am big fans of Moss, Fletcher, Kerrigan and Cooley, RG3 and Garçon.
