Question Numbers????

Does anyone have any info about the jersey numbers issued to any of our new draftees (other than Rodgers and Campbell)? I know that sounds like a stupid question, but for some reason I always like to know who gets what number.

Cool

only one of the drafted players college numbers are taken, and that is McCune's #54 (Clifton Smith). White's #29, Broughton's #30(Diedrick has it, but his shot at making the roster is as good as mine), Newberry Was #17, but he can't use that as a LB. I think I would like to see McCune wearing #99, and Newberry wear #50.

Red face

I just thought that if Rogers and Campbell got their numbers, all of the other picks got theirs also. Just guessing though.

I don't thing Taylor should be allowed to change his number for two reasons. The first reason, is that what about all of his fans who spent their hard earned money to support him, by buying his #36 jersey, only for him to make it an expensive dust cloth after one year. The second reason, #21 would look better on Rodgers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think of it this way, the 36 will become a collector's item. Since if Taylor becomes what we hope he can be, he will be remembered for #21, #36 jerseys will be a curio.

And when has some player's jersey been worth very much on the open market? I figure Taylor will be gone to the highest bidder in a few years anyway. No players have any team loyalty any more. It just isn't worth buying a player's jersey any more until after they retire.

I just wasted $30 at the Skins Tent Sale for my son's new jersey. But I gave him the option to return it after Fent was so kind to tell me he changed his number to 21 after all. He decided to keep the jersey anyway. Nice kid....he saved me the additional $45 for a "21" jersey.

For those of you who met Jeff, he laid out a couple guys with LaVar type hits in his rugby match today.
