Thumbs up: L. Betts, who's a human dynamo!
Thumbs down: Coach Williams, who was completely outcoached yesterday.

I have to give a thumbs down to Coach Williams and his staff. I really can't blame a Prielou for not being able to stay with a blazing Pro Bowl WR. I would never have asked him to do that.
At the same time I fully admit GW is a genius and I am a moron. Just for one day it was reversed.

I agree with the awards this week. Our DEs cannot do that this week with a veteran QB like Collins. He'll pick us apart if we play like that again on Sunday.

Good job! How about a thumbs down 1.A for Coach Gibbs who once again played a little too close to the vest in not calling a play action fake to go for the first down, knowing that your secondary was being handled all day. Our DEs are pretty bad though. This must be addressed this offseason. Our DEs play like DTs trying to stop the run.

Our defensive ends are the worst combo in football. Think about it. Wynn and Daniels have a combvined, 1 sack. How pathetic is that? Imagine how dominating Griffin and Salave'a coudl be if we actually had a legit pass rusher and teams had to worry about double teaming him?

Thumbs Up:
Ladell Betts {Wow}
Clinton Portis, had a great day.
The OL, neither sack was there fault and they rolled over the Bucs DL.
Thumbs Down:
DE, they are terible.
Walt Harris and Pearson Prileaou, together they couldn't stop Chris Simms.
David Patten, we throw to him more and he reards us with a pick and a couple of drops.

Our offense went idol in that last possession. We were a 1rt down away from a victory. Their run defense went stout and buckled down in the closing half of that quarter, IMO some play action might have caught them off guard just like it did on the 4th and 1 when we hit Cooley for that 3 yard gain.

Excellent picks, guys. I agree completely. Nice to see Betts get some love... that guy played his heart out yesterday.

Thumbs Up:Clinton Portis, he ran the ball like I know he's capable of, but he hasn't done since he arrived in DC.This was a posotive that kept us in the game...what with Brunell's turnovers. The offense needs to stop surrendering the ball up like that...it kills our defense.
Thumbs Down:The secondary, especially Walt Harris...GW was saying that Lavar doesn't know the system??And if Harris does know the system...then he hasn't a pinch of desire to play football for this organization. You can't blame GW because Walt Harris got beat long on multiple occasions.
Walt Harris should be ashamed that he got beat by a guy I've never even heard of for that touchdown.Granted...he didn't have his best safety back there at all, but in man to man coverage with a 7 point lead late in the 4th...you can't let your man behind you like that.
Clinton Portis on the other hand...had a feild day, over 100 yards and a touchdown. He also made great blocks on Simeon Rice (since Samuels couldn't block him on occasion) and others on multiple occasions.I hope he keeps it up and that the rest of the team catches up to his level of enthusiasm for the game.

I really thought that was a great pickup in the offseason.....until I saw him start dropping passes.IMO, he's one of the biggest busts this year.He went from contributing on a SB team to dropping passes left and right.
I'm really disappointed in him.

I am actually at the point right now where I wanna see the tandem of Moss and Jacobs. Lets get Taylor the ball as well.
