Seems like Rich did not appreciate Pierce's comments a few days back.
I tend to agree with Rich I hate the sniping of ex players as much as I dislike our old players being blasted when they have served the club well.

As much as I love AP, I have to agree with the sentiment that he should SHUT UP!!!

Yeah he really should. He did come out and actively gave us an opportunity to match NY's offer and is still distraught we didn't. Perhaps, the fact NY got blasted in their playoff game and we won (on the road nonetheless) factored into this. I really can't see them or Coughlin going to the promise land.

Yeah he is and definitely getting more opinionated and vocal. I can see his beef a bit with what Pierce said, but it certainly wasn't the worst thing I've ever heard from a former player of a team.

I have always liked Tandler. I did not take that much offense at what AP said because once you take off the B&G I just don't care about what you do, with the noticable exception of Champ "Iago" Bailey.
AP will get his when Clinton rolls over him this next year.

Reality check - the Redskins offer to Antonio was only a few hundred thousand less than what he took with the Giants. The real issue was that he would have been paid more than Marcus Washington, who is a better player and had much more experience.
I liked AP and he is one of the few players who left, that I actually wanted to keep. It's an NFL sport to bash the Redskins as an amateurish franchise. The Spurrier days are over and this has become a powerful and well-coached team which will make the run to the Superbowl.
Let's see who wins more games next season Mr Pierce. Another excellent article.

AP sees the moves were making, how far we went in the playoffs, etc and is jealous thats all this is.

AP needs to learn to respect the team that made him what he is, without the skins he goes and plays for the rhine fire

i dont think what pierce said was all that bad. i can certainly understand why he said it after the huge turnover in the coaching staffs. he's trying to recruit lavar.
i also understand rich's point of view. i think he went a little too hard too fast. basically, i see pierce as throwing a couple of jabs and then rich throwing the knock out punch.
basically, i just wish we should be polite and gentlemen, even if others arent. no reason to stoop to someone's level.
