I saw an interview with him and he said he wantedd to lose about twenty ous anyway, and all this surgery did that to him. First of all, he wasn't fat to begin with, and he could still move. Secondly, losing weight is one thing, but to do it because you are on a morphine drip is probably not the best way. They should have known he wasn't conditioned right. Couple this with the fact tha Batch played well and you have a clear no-brainer.
