The funny thing is that I think our offense is playing exactly how you would expect given a defense that gives up chucks of yardage and doesn't force turnovers. They are conservative. If the D was giving them the ball more frequently and occasionally scored, I think AS and JG could open it up a bit.

Yeah, I also assumed we were 1-1 in the turnover column.

i also dont want to hear about how the eagles have played the run lately. we heard about it before the tenn and indy games and it didnt matter they were last in the league vs the run, they shut us down there. look what the eagles did last year to Ladainian Tomlinson, they could come out the same way this week. then again they could come out and look like the texans did when we played them
I personally consider a blocked kick a turnover, but I don't think the NFL does. I may be wrong...whatever the case, we are in for a LONG day if our OLine plays like crap early in the game. It seems like the Eagles D gets very effective at home when they make early stops (3-and-outs or turnovers), but if we you can get moving on them early, even if it's just a FG or pin them back with a punt after initially crossing midfield, they can be pushed around. (especially by the run, as demonstrated by the Jags!)

now that i think about it, we had a turnover on downs, makes it 2-1. but a safety is like a turnover too kind of you get the ball and you get points. so in theory it could be 2-2

I don't think it's going to matter all that much seeing how Al Saunders refuses to let CP touch the ball 25 times/game.

Perhaps Al can take it upon himself to give Portis the ROCK. Just like how he and Gibbs agreed to finally give Duckett some touches. These are things that just have to be done.
