Time for the massive playoff push. Starts tonight with Florida! This team has so much to look forward to with Ovechkin and Semin both under 22, and Nickolas Backstrom on the way next year. I see a Stanley Cup within 3 years! They have the young blazing guns, now concentrate on building the defense. Kolzig is not going to hold up fending off 35-45 shots pe rgame.

Well, closing in on All Star break and the Caps ended a three game losing streak with a nice win in carolina. They sit at 47 points, just three points from the last playoff slot. Cappies are in the hunt!

Wow, with Ovechkin, Semin, and Backstrom coming next year, caps offense is loaded. They really need to concentrate on bolsterinng the defense.
