I saw Fox also. Doughty would be a wasted late rounder if we cut him, but he's a special teamer guy, so he's probably staying.

I'm too feeble-minded to be able to go back through the thread to see the string of posts (mea culpa), but if the core idea was competition for Safety slots, even ST guys are at risk. Unless Doughty is Thrashlike, he can be beaten out by a younger, faster, meaner guy.

Did anyone watch the 05/05/07 Gregg Williams interview at www.redskins.com? He said that Sean Taylor would continue to play free safety, with Landry playing SS (about 3 minutes in). There has been a lot of talk around here about moving Taylor to his "natural" position of SS, but G.W. seemed pretty confident that S.T. will perform better at FS with Landry playing in the box, allowing to Taylor to focus on gettin the ball instead of coming up to cover the run. I hope he's right.
