I remember the days when I used to get caught up in power rankings -- even those published before pre-season, lol. Now? Not one single damn is given. Can't wait til we take the field for real and see just how this team shapes up.

now you see why i think you misinterpreted what he was saying? he was basing our potential record on the fact we have a fast qb, who could post a rating in the 80s. not as our qb should have a rating in the 80s because he is fast...there is a big different there

This. I'm not going to let meaningless pre-season rankings disturb me. All I care about is how we're playing and progressing. If we make the playoffs, AWESOME, but I'm not excepting it this year either.

Agreed, the unknowns are why they are ranked here. There are clear improvements in talents that have been added but until they produce you can't lend them the credit.
