If he is rookie of the year, good for him, but I saw many of USC’s games and I don’t get why this is such a tightly held assumption.

Truth be told I'm sick of the hipocrosy in your many posts. Here you are in this thread criticizing Udeze to no end, while in other posts you contimue to have unwavering support for Sean Taylor, to the point of agression towards anyone who says otherwise. Anyway the contradiction is that you ask others to stop being so into Udeze, while you do the same for Taylor. My apologies for calling you on this, but I can't believe no one else has made mention of this.

Please cite specific posts. I have praised and criticized both players this last month and I have always attempted to post objectively to further a discussion. Please don't get angry because at me because Udeze's workout did not live up to the hype. Further, what you claim I am guilty of is not hypocrisy: supporting someone and then criticizing their opponents would not make me a hypocrite but rather quite consistent. However, I am sure that is all irrelevant to you as you are just making stuff up.

If you call someone out, you best back it up. I just don’t think Udeze is Terrell Suggs. I am not the person you need to start flaming.
Also, think logically: why would I be using this opportunity to advocate the idea of taking Will Smith if I was a crazed Sean Taylor booster?

Since no one else wants to say it, I'm disappointed in his workout numbers.
People want to launch people up the draft with good workouts but they don't want to knock them because of drills.
Udeze and Suggs are NOT comparable. Suggs is the ALL-TIME sack leader of college football. You might not think that 7 or 8 more sacks is a big deal, but considering what Suggs had next to him at ASU it is a big deal since he was their defense.
I'm not saying that Udeze won't be good, I'm just saying that his workout was disappointing. Just because he had a disappointing workout we are going to compare him to the all-time sack leader in college football because he had a poor workout as well? Flawed logic.
Udeze and his agent have been going around saying 4.6 so I'm sure they are disappointed.
Taylor and Udeze have both have disappointed in their workouts. It's funny, Taylor vs. Udeze has been the hottest debate but now the darkhorse named Winslow may win the race.

That was the best way to describe it.
I still have to go with Sean Taylor, maybe I'm wrong, but I see something in him that I also saw in Roy Williams. Maybe the playmaker ability.

Hmmmm - Udeze and Taylor both overrated??? Can we trade down and get Taylor?
"Considering the free-agent activity of teams in need of safety help, with John Lynch (Broncos), Reggie Tongue (Jets), Mark Roman (Packers) all having found new homes and Mike Logan re-signing with the Steelers, it probably means only one safety will be drafted in Round 1 -- Miami's Sean Taylor.
Even Taylor's stock is slipping after his disappointing Pro Day and what coaches have said after watching him on tape: "He doesn't miss tackles -- he avoids them." He won't go in the top 10, as some previously thought, and he may go down as far as No. 17, where the Bengals will be waiting for him."

The d-line is horrendous. I don't care if Udeze is overrated, we need d-line help, and Taylor is not that. I would take Harris or WIlfork with the 5th pick before taking Taylor of KWII

Thank you, me and Truant are both Sun Devils, and I even got my haircuts at the same place as Suggs and I'll tell you right now everybody in the PAC 10 and other opponents always gameplanned around Suggs since his sophmore year after he made so much noise his freshman year. Suggs was better out of college than Udeze period.
Winslow will not be drafted before us he will be our choice if we stay at #5, Udeze/Wilfork will be our choice if we trade down I don't care what the workouts say.

I'm not on the Taylor bandwagon, but even I doubt that he would slip that far. I believe the hype alone keeps him in the the top 10.

Ok a defensive lineman runs a 4.7 40 yard dash and this is dissapointing? What counts is on the field play and Udeze has prooven himself that way over and over. Just because he plays on a great D-line is he supposed to appologize and play bad? Personally he reminds me alot of Hugh Douglas and might turn into the same type of player. Besides, did everyone's superhero Sean Taylor show up at the team workouts?

Thank god you are not our GM. Seriously, Gibbs has said he will not draft for need, but will take the best player available.
PS Winslow is as strong as Udeze.

Kellen Winslow is the best player in the draft regardless of position, and if he is available at 5 (which I doubt) and we pass on him, we will regret it.
