I hate admit it but that cracked me up RB. Its so true. But I can see it coming to an end now that we have a real coach. He'll preach on the importance of keeping players that want to be a Redskin.

I know it may not seem that way now with this Trotter thing happening. Perhaps Trotter didn't want to be here deep down and the FO knew it.

Lavar needs to realize that his agents are at fault. The written contract is what controls and is agents (1) admitted they did not read the contract and (2) initaled every page. Simple contract law seems to evidence that the deal submitted one was the one agred to. It is interesting that Smoot dropped the Postons last week and Pace is likely going to drop them this week. Moreover, I'm sick of is whining. He needs to shut up and just let the process do its thing.

I like Johnson and his toughness, but I don't think we should have matched the contract, especially because the Rock is cheaper and just as good. I tquestion the amount we paid for him rather than his ability as a player.

Finally, I think cutting Trotter is a mistake. He's only 26 and is productive. Moreover, this manuver means that the Redskins will have over 4 million dollars of dead money next year. Finally, why would any team give up a draft pick for Trotter when they can just wait for him to be released? Under this scenario, a team may fork over a 7th just to avoid a bidding war, but can anyone can justify getting a 7th for a starting MLB?

Mike I agree that Gibbs deserves a the respect to win or loose with his type of players... It is a good thing for me that I don't wear pro jerseys or I would be mad that I have to get a new one every week

Excellent point RB. Thats why the last jersey I bought was a throwback Darrel Green. I can wear that one forever.

I'll admit to points one and two of the arguement but I deny any such involvement in anything negative towards Joe Jackson Gibbs!!!

Poor LaVar...some days he makes me crazy over this whole 6.5 million mess and other days I think he should stick to his guns!!!

The verdict is still out for me, I want to see if he plays with all his heart this year, then I'll be the first to apologize.

Hate to admit it but I think your right. And where that starts is on the D-line. Over the past 3 years we have had about 7 first rounders on our d-line, and we have still been bad. Seems to me like we should just wait for a diamond in the rough.

Trotter is good, but he is not a leader and he has a guy behind him who is just as good. I can see why he is being let go.

I was also turned off by the negativity surrounding Champ Bailey leaving. Suddenly because he doesn't want to be on a team where he had to learn 4 different defensive schemes in 5 years he a peice of crap.

While he was here he was nothing if no a class act and a star athelete.

Also the turning on Ramsey and LaVar as soon as they said anything that wasn't positive.

Both Ramsey and Arrington have been leaders and great Redskins.

Why the hate?

As for the 6.5 mil, I would certainly be pissed off, the only reason you guys can say you wouldn't is because you don't have the 6.5 mil. Granted, I would probably aim the anger at my agent.

Last jersey I bought was a Joey Galloway for the Hawks. Then he got traded to the Pokes. That was saddening. Haven't bought one since. Way I figure it though is that your looking to buy that players legacy, therefor you have to accept anything that happens to him or around him that affects him. Once it all happens then you support it.

Personally I don't see a big deal, if I could pick one up for like 10 bucks I would wear a Champ or Brian Mitchell or even a Gus Frerrotte Jersey, if the colors match...its all good .

someone might trade a pick for trotter, take on his contract and avoid a bidding war. can anyone really expect to get a proven starting middle linebacker like trotter with a draft pick? then again, if no one trades for him it would be better to release him after june 1st anyway. the cap hit we'd take on a trade would be worse than just waiting till after june 1st to release him for no compensation.
