Gardner Trade
If the Skins can get a 2nd or 3rd for Gardner that they can take a d-lineman with then do they draft Taylor.

It's no secret I like Taylor over a d-lineman. I do like a d-line man over Gardner slightly.

Draft DL no matter what in the first round. The 2nd round pick can be used to fulfill a need at TE or we can grab another Safety if we feel that is a need. We need a starter for the DL out of the first round though

i stand by drafting taylor @ #5 or trade down to get d-line. i don't like any of d-linemen @ #5.

I like Taylor and winslow, but I got to agree with Spence, draft d-lineman until we run out of picks.

I say we trade down and get 2 d-lineman in 1st/2nd then w/ pick from trade get Iowa SS Bob "The Hitman" Sanders in 2nd or 3rd. From what I've heard he's faster and hits harder than Taylor. Only downside is that he's small. But wasn't there a CB around here back in the day that was small AND slow but, one hell of a ball player???

Whomever Gibbs drafts I will be happy with. I would like our pick to be a Hurricane, but I guess saying that is pretty vague now a days
If we stay at five, I am on the Taylor bandwagon. If we trade down, best available d-linemen in the first and a DT or FS in the second.

why in the world would we keep rod gardner?
stock pile on picks from trading gardner and/or trotter and draft defense
get the most physical defensive players out there
If we could get 3 picks from trotter and gardner, that'd be great

i agree on trading down, and i agree on the 1st rounder being a d-tackle or end, but i think i am in the minority on the extra 2nd round picks we get from trading down. that is where the best guards and centers have slipped under the radar and are still available. who do we have in there? fiore(might retire), dockery, friedman, raymer, moore... i think we got raymer, jon jansen, tre johnson all with 2nd or 3rd round picks, didnt we?

im with you split3. although rod has had some bright moments his dropped passes overshadow any and all of them. i think we can get a low 3rd round pick for him and a solid DL even that late in the draft.
