I play mmorpgs but didnt choose to go ffxi. It costs extra money to have more then one chr. If you want to play with a friend they have to come up with enough gil to pay to have you come to their server, because you can not choose which server you join. It is not geared well for group play in the early levels. It is so much faster to level alone. The reason I play mmorpgs if for the social aspect of it. If I want a single player game I can buy one and not waste the monthly fee. Also The bloody game has been out for over a year in Japan! Everything has been done already. You are also constantly running into language problems with people you meet. I am still waiting for the right mmorpg. Horizons was not it. AC2 was not it. I played DAOC for a while the RVR was great. I just miss the old school UO. Nothing will ever compare. To me, more graphics doesnt mean squat if the game is good!
They need to come up with a leveling system that is not so much of a chore.
