Default Season Ticket Waiting List...

Does anyone know of a way to see your current rank or estimated time remaining on the waiting list?

I signed up a few years ago and the only info I get is an email (about one a year) that offers me the same "new seats" that are also posted on the official site. Thanks in advance.

You might try contacting the Ticket office. We just got ours,9 years in the making.I would have been 150 years old if they didn't have all these seats.Good Luck to you.

Oh boy...well in the old days they used to send you a post card with your number. I've got friends who got on in '97 I think and got seats last year, so you're probably close. I'd be VERY curious to know what year you joined and where you are on the list. I have my doubts the list is anywhere near as big as they say it is....I would simply call the ticket office at FedEx and ask. It's all on a computer now and should be a no-brainer question for them to answer. Please post back and let us know how far you've moved up!!

I just signed my 15 year old son up last week on the internet and his place on the waiting list is 144,000+ (I forget the actual number).

I signed up last summer. Might as well have been for my grandkids.

Every now and then I get a postcard in the mail from them, with what number I currently am. Last time it was 55,000 or so.

Go to the official site and use the "contact us" feature and ask them to let you know what number you are. You'll have to leave full name and mailing address for them to verify.

Wait time on this list has changed quite a bit...
I signed up in 1979 and was 11,378 on the list. Got a post card every year giving me an update on my position. The year FedEx openned, I was down to around 7,800 WHICH should have meant I was going to get my tickets the frist year at the new stadium...... Didn't happen! (and didn't understand why). BUT the second year I got my tickets which was for ONLY two. Then my second year - I got a call from the ticket office for a "One Time Only" offer for additional tickets - AND GET THIS : unlimited quanity. Asked the agent how this was possible seeing how there was now 60,000+ people on the waiting list. He told me (again) this was a OTO offer - take it or leave it. So I added two more seats (all I could afford). ............ NOW here's the real confusing part - I read last year (here on hR) that someone just got their tickets and had only been on the waiting list for 5 years - AND these were not Club Seats either. - I'm still scratching my head on that one. ........ Seems to me, there is some real shady things going on with the Redskins Ticket Office.

Pat, you and I were in the same boat, bro.

I signed up in 1979 as well. I think my nember was 13,338.

When FedEx was built, I thought I was going to get my tickets as well, but I did not.

Found out that in the stadium deal with P.G. County, that for them (Redskins) to get the land, ALL people that were on the list that lived in P.G. were put to the top of the list.

So, if someone had signed up right before the deal was signed that lived in P.G. county got put in front of people like you and me that had been on the list for years, because we didn't live in P.G.

That was total BS.

But then when my number came up in 2001, they (Redskins) told me that I would be guaranteed tickets if I bought Club seats.

Yea, that sounded fishy to me too, but what are you going to do?

So, I bought them. Now I am glad I did.

At the end of last year, I was 83,000+. I had received a letter then letting me know my position. I did not get a similar letter this year, so I have no idea where I am. That position was one year after having signed up, so I can actually afford the tickets when my name comes up.

So let me make sure I understand this...you got on the list in 1979 and were just offered tickets in 2001?

I joined in 1992 and got mine in 2001! If I read that right, further evidence that there is all kinds of monkey business with that list...

Like I said in my initial post, my friends got theirs in 5 years. Don't buy into hype about this list taking 20 years anymore....

Also, I've gotten those calls asking if I'd like to purchase more seats. On one hand it seems like a nice benefit to being a ticket holder, but on the other hand what a way to screw the waitlist! I also didn't appreciate when they took the preseason games away from us. I used to go every year to those....

I got my update from the Ticket Office today. I am up to 25,299. So I have moved up 30,000 names since I joined the list about 3 years ago.

Ok that would be in keeping with the 5-6 year window I've heard about. That may change now though...

PS keep in mind my ticket contact told me they turnover about 5,000 seats each year...wonder what's happening to the other 5,000? I also have heard that there are people who already have tickets and put themselves back on the list to get some of the freebies.
