LaVar Arrington welcomed first-round draft pick Sean Taylor with a hug in the Washington Redskins auditorium.
Then the two players performed Part Two of the modern NFL greeting: They pulled out their cell phones and started trading numbers.
"I don't really take to too many people, but I like him," linebacker Arrington said. "I like his spirit, the way he carries himself." |

ah u beat me to it. Taylor doesn't even want #26 deferring it to either Portis or Ohalete.. he'll make his mark w/ his own Redskins #. the more i read the better the pick.

Ahhhhhh...isn't it nice to know that the two hardest hitters on the team get along already. It's gonna be so sweet to see both of these head hunters out on the field at the same time. I hope if we win the toss on opening day that we choose defense first. Maybe the two will double team Meshawn and send him flying. I can see it now.......

Yes, it really does keep getting better and better. Taylor is here and saying all the right things. LaVar is out of his media slump and getting excited about the team and is also [finally] saying the right things.
Can't wait for the next camp. When is that?

LOL! i know what you mean, but i definitely do not think our defense will be able to double me-shawn on opening day... |
