"Redskins Team Report

The defense has changed from a read-and-react scheme with a heavy reliance on linebackers making plays to an attacking style in which linemen will be encouraged to make plays. The change should suit new T Cornelius Griffin (Giants), but it's unclear whether the ends can thrive. Regan Upshaw and Phillip Daniels don't have pass-rush credentials from the right side, and LE Renaldo Wynn may not have the size to consistently make a difference.

Clinton Portis is not the big, bruising type of back usually found in a Joe Gibbs offense. Portis is more of a cross between John Riggins and Joe Washington: effective between the tackles but fast enough to break a long run. He also can be a receiver on any down.

OFFENSIVE TACKLES ANALYSIS

LT Chris Samuels has much to prove after two subpar seasons and offseason shoulder surgery. He is one of the league's more athletic tackles but must improve his footwork against speed rushers. He also must stop letting quicker ends gain leverage. RT Jon Jansen's work ethic is unquestioned and his hand punch is excellent. He also is difficult to knock off balance. Backup Brandon Winey is fairly athletic and has a good degree of toughness. Veterans Kenyatta Jones and Daryl Terrell will compete for a roster spot. Rookies Mark Wilson and Jim Molinaro have decent chances of making the roster. Wilson is big and physical and can play either side. Molinaro can play just about everywhere on the line. "

Here is the 3rd link just for you

thanks dude, i didnt know daryl terrel was still on the roster even. and i dont understand the comment about wynn's size. all he has is size. he's huge for an end at 6'-3 and 292. if anything, he's too big and therefore not fast enough.

He's built more like a DT. Wonder if anyone ever tried him on the inside.

the last couple years we've tried him at DT on passing downs. he's not quick and fast enough to be End and not sturdy or strong enough to play Tackle consistently. he's a tweener w/ not enough skills at either.
