Interesting link. With Testaverdi as their QB, I don't think the Cowgirls will even reach the playoffs. Although when the season starts those odds won't mean a thing. I don't see the eagles or rams winning the SB, though. Bucs neither.

That's actually better than I expected. I had heard on another post some time ago that we were like 30-1 odds or something. I 'm not sure where that ranked us, but I figured we probably would be closer to the middle of the pack. It's nice to see that the bookies in Vegas are behind us.
Yea for gambling!!

What's the difference between current and open?
I'd throw down some cash on the 'Skins with those odds. Probably the Bengals too, and $1 on the Lions and Texans just for the hell of it!

Open is what the odds were when they were first released. Current is where they stand now. This number could go up or down, depending on the mood of the prognosticator that made the list.

Current is what the odds are now... Open are what they started at...
If current pays less than open its either because a lot of people are betting on them and/or something happened to increase their chances (signing, injuries to other teams, etc...)

Hmmm, I'll be in Vegas next month for 8 days. Think I'll have to put some money down.

I doubt that the mood of an oddsmaker is the reason why odds change. While odds may be influenced some by the latest changes a team makes, I believe the biggest factor why odds change is how the betting is going. In other words, as more money is wagered on a team, its odds will go down.

Hit the Texas hold 'em tables while there. Man I love that game.

I disagree, it is all about the mood of the odds maker. Different teams can suffer injuries at the same positions, but if that particular prognosticator feels that team A's injury will effect their ability to win more then team B's, then his choices may reflect that.

I put 30 bucks down on the Skins to with the Super Bowl about 2 weeks ago at 33-1. $1,000 payoff if they can do it! www.ladbrokes.com

I'd take that gamble. The payoff is too huge, and the oddsmakers are dopes for thinking we have that little of a chance to win it all this year.

They are now down to 20-1. I guess the oddsmakers finally woke up!

Our's was at 25-1... Now it is at 12-1. That's a great improvement.
