After the contract he just signed, that is pocket change. Why even bother?

i'd appeal as well b/c it was the largest fine given to a rookie either. it is more about principal that the money. however, i do think he should be fined.

what's to appeal? He left didn't he? This is chump change anyway for him now. I think his agent just wants to make himself useful and is just covering all bases.

I would appeal too.

People have skipped the entire thing and gotten fined less. He leaves, notices his mistake (with a little help from the front office) and comes back as quickly as possible.

Unnaceptable, Taylor isn't going to let the NFL make an example out of him.

It's un-American not to appeal.

pretty much

i dont think he should have been fined. i've already stated my opinion. i think the league is just fine-crazy. they are getting too overboard with it.

TO/sharpie - fine him for excessive
JH/cell phone - fine him for excessive

David Carr+Oline/cell phone stunt to make fun of horn - funny(but they fined him)
Chad Johnson's sign - funny(but they fined it)

maybe not as much but if they didn't fine him rookies would play hookie all the time.
I thought chad's sign was hillarious.. Don't think he should have gotten a fine for the 'do not fine me' sign.
I didn't catch the david carr thing. what'd they do?

Carr and the O Line man used the goalpost as a phone booth and acted to make a call but then backed off. It was really funny. I dont think any of them should of been fined. Isn't this game for the fans?

so they didn't actually pull any phone out??? Why the fine?? I think they should be able to celebrate within reason. I actually liked the sharpe. I think the phone was a little too far but still thought it was funny. The way I see it IF YOU DON'T WANT THEM TO CELEBRATE, DON'T LET 'EM SCORE! My all time favorite was when T.O. spiked the ball on the dallas star

That TO one was a classic!!! I had a great idea for something that the skins can do this season. Ok, I dont remember the Gibbs Era I, but I've seen that celebration when a bunch of skins would jump up and do the high five. I remeber that they did that on a cowgirl, that was hilarious. I think they should do that again, for the fans sake, and to show that the Gibbs Era is back. That would be something.

If players keep leaving the symposium, then you need to keep increasing the fine until they stop leaving.

Taylor has some explaining to do.....for example, he was getting evicted from his place in Miami, yet he left they symposium to go to Washington?????? I expect he will do that at the appeal and the fine will stand. It costs the league a half million dollars to put on that event.
