Default Doug Williams

I read in the post today that Doug Williams, who is apart of the tampa bay bucs(i forgot what he does) has been to the redskins games and he has been telling the bucs about gibbs' playbook. Could this be a problem? I mean, there are usually scouts at every game, but williams knows the playbook

Too much is made into what people from the past know. I'm sure that Kiffin is pulling up all of the old tape from back in the day to prepare for us. Gibbs knows this. Just because you may have an idea of what to expect, that doesn't mean that you know when to expect it, and that doesn't mean that you will be able to stop it.

I think this is gettin overblown or whatever... He is just a scout. And it doesn't matter... That's not what we're gonna be doing against them.

and even if you know what to expect, dont mean you will be able to stop it.

im sure gibbs is smart enough to know that people will look at his old games, so he will be using new plays.

Agreed. He can give him ideas, but it's nothing you can't find on tape and that doesn't mean we will be shut down.

Kenny, I'm not really a big Marvin fan, but I really like your new avatar.

Doug William's conversation with Gruden.....

DW - They're gonna run ALOT!! When they're done running they're gonna run some more. Inside, outside, inside again...oh wait there goes Clinton outside.

Gruden - We're screwed!!!!

Exactly. Bugel knew what to expect from Joe when he went to Arizona as HC, at that didn't help him beat the Skins too much.

I don't think much of this either. Coach Gibbs is smarter than to let something like this take place. It is blown out of proportion.

Agreed, and Doug certainly doesnt know "the playbook." He is merely familiar with Gibb's style of offense, not our actual formations and plays for this year. What is most unsettling is the thought of someone who I consider a "true redskin" sitting up in the skybox helping to game plan against us...it's just plain weird.

Doug Williams might know a good amount about the playbook. But the Williams has been out of the playbook for 10+ years and Gibbs I'm sure has made A LOT of changes to it. If we lose to the Bucs its because they are a very good defense with a lot of talent. Not because Williams told them about the playbook.
