Thanks alot guys we appreciate it. It looks like its slowed and weakened in the past 24 hours. Were waiting for it to hit around 12am sat. Anyhow were ready bring it on.

So far it has been a weird day ... At 9 am it was horrible and I thought here we go again then it got nice and supposidly the storm is just sitting there

The cable came back on and it is almost bedtime.... 11 30 .... (I am getting old) the wind is blowing a bit but still no rain....Actually the weather was worse this mourning than it is now

after it goes through south florida it is projected to come to the panhandle, which is where i live. Gotta go to the store and load up on supplies!!!!

We had a similar deal last year with Isabell.It was a strong Cat.1 that was so large that we we're pounded for a long time.Hang in there.The waiting,the power outages,and the lack of supplies[water,ice,generator...]are the worst part.We ended up having to throw all our food away because we didn't have power for over 8 days.Good Luck everyone!

dang it!
I turned on the news last night and the first thing they showed, was how bad it was already in a little place called Sebastian...well, my 85 year old Grandmother lives in Sebastian!!!!!!! I know she is safe but now I'm worred about her house. My Grandfather just died so the house is her refuge right now...anyway back to watching the news....
