Default ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS

The Admins of hR have unanimosuly adopted an AMENDMENT to the Forum User Guiddelines. The Amendment is titled "Multiple Threads" and is now official hR Policy. We ancourage ALL MEMBERS to take the time and familiarize your self with the news User Guidelines, as well as , all guidelines. Listed below is the new official hR Policy on Multiple Thread Creation.

Moderators have been instructed to immediately begin enforcement of the new Guideline policy.

"MULTIPLE THREAD POLICY
Our policy on MULTIPLE THREAD POSTING is being created to keep the hR forums uncluttered, interesting and easy to follow. The Policy is simply. Check the forum's first 2 pages (60 threads) to see if a topic already exists in which you would like to discuss. (For Example...there is no reason to have 5 to 6 different Sean Taylor threads. If you wish to disucss Sean Taylor and a thread already exists, you MUST use that thread). Lately the Boards have been cluttered with multiple threads on the same topic, particurly after a game. We pride ourselves on having interesting, thought provoking, and intelligent discussion here at hR, but much of it gets pushed off with these types of duplicate threads. Should you accidently post a duplicate topic thread and catch it, please send a PM to a hR Admin or Moderator. They will take care of merging the thread on your behalf. Should you simply create a duplicate topic thread because you did not first preview the forum, it will be merged and you will be sent a PM. After that, you will then receive a warning via PM from an Admin or Moderator, after which forum disciplinary actions can be taken. An excellent way to avoid this is to use the Link at the top Titled "New Posts" which will show you threads/posts that have been created since your last visit to hR. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in your thread being deleted and discinplinary actions taken. We not only WANT but ENCOURAGE your posting, but we ask that you do it thoughtfully, so ALL members can enjoy hR."

We thank all of our members for being members, you have built a tremendously enjoying and fun Redskins community. These guidelines are meant to maintain the community feel we have here at hR!

Question Disciplinary action -- say what?

I understand your position but sometimes people goof up. I made that mistake once.

Disciplinary action? If a person isn't flagrantly violating the rules or doing something offensive or provacatory, isn't that rather extreme? IMHO this sounds pretty harsh given the nature of the error (as opposed to offense).
