Good, saves the cost of a trial. I had a good friend of mine rape another good friend of mine and I had to testify at the evidentiary hearing(she called me immediately after he left) and he pled out and got 30 years, which is getting off light.

If this was CSI it would end up that the girls friend staged the suicide and killed the guy for revenge. Actually, I'm guessing that I watch to much of that show, and it shows. I'll shut up now.

It said accused, not convicted, right?

Wow no sympathy huh?

A Carroll College review board notified Yde-Layne on Sept. 30 that a majority of the board determined that the woman had given Yde-Layne "implied consent" to have sex and ruled that "a violation of college policy did not likely occur," according to a review board letter to Yde-Layne that attorney Rick Sherwood released Tuesday.
He had implied consent, yet you have no sympathy. Man that's low. You should have a crapload of sympathy. According to this, he was not guilty.

If he did rape her, fine. I agree with akhhorus' comment. If he didn't, then I feel bad that he felt that was the only way out. He wasn't found guilty, so I'm not going to immediately label him as such.

maybe i was under the impression that he was guilty, i dunno cause i havent read it in so long. or maybe i assumed he was guilty since he commited suicide.

really, im not like this at all. i hated the kobe case cause everybody labeled him already, yet nothing had been proved. so who were we to decide if he was a raper or not if we didnt have all the facts? somewhere along the lines, i thought he had been proven.
