Whiney Red Sox fans
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/playof...ory?id=1899757
How is it possible that the Red Sox can have Yankee Hater hats and T-shirts and T-shirts that say Yankees Suck....and this is OK, but the Yankees shirt saying "Who's your Daddy" is offensive to Red Sox fans. Give me a break!!!

Good Lord, their own idiot pitcher made the comment. I have my "1918 Bitch" t-shirt at the ready and for the second game I can wear the "Babe, Bucky, Buckner, Boone, Any Questions?" shirt.

Maybe it was the pacifier that took this a bit too far? I think that's a little more then saying "Yankee's Suck". Also, the fact that this shirt was sanctioned by MLB doesn't help also.

I'm clueless on this. But why are the "Who's your daddy" t-shirts offensive to Red Sox fans?
Did I miss something here? Thanks in advance

The Red Sox fans are apparently very sensitive fans. They don't like it when people make fun of their team. If you haven't, read the article above. It goes into it a little.

Thank you sknz. I understand what is going now.
All I can say is, wow! Boston fans sure do have some power for MLB to pull those t-shirts because they were offended by, "who's your daddy".
Crazy!

I hate the Yankees - my wife's entire family lives outside of Boston and are taking a massive holiday this week to sacrifice tot he baseball gods - and yet I still had to chuckle when that "Who's Your Daddy?" chant started last night.
Sometimes you just need to laugh things off.

I think one of the big reasons is that MLB actually licensed the shirt. The Yankees suck shirts are not licensed. By the shirts being made by MLB, it actually looks like that MLB is siding with the Yankees a bit.

Exactly. That's the point I was making. If it were some street vendor doing his own business, nothing could be done about this. MLB IMO shouldn't be involved in such taunts, even if Pedro brought it on himself.
