Should the skins go for Rice?
It appears Jerry Rice will be traded before the deadline. While his production is just a fraction of what it used to be, Rice is a great mentor for receivers (TO credits his skill to Rice). If he doesn't cost too much, should the skins go for the greatest receiver of all time?

no...we have no need for him here...we'd have to put DMAC or Taylor on the inactive list every week

Another receiver not getting separation or yards after the catch? Why?

Nope. We have problems, but we do nto need a 40 year old solution. Lets use Jacobs and McCants first!

no way. Rice has lost more than a step or two and i think Norv is doing the right thing by getting rid of him because right now all hes doing is playing a few downs a game and then sitting on the sidelines. Jerry Rice.....

rice wants to go somewhere that he can get playing time at. that certainly isnt here, considering DMAC cant even make the active roster.

No, and not because it's crazy . . .
I have admired Jerry Rice since I can't remember when. Even 5 years ago I would have salivated deeply to have him here with our Beloved Team. Now, it is his time to go to the Detroit Lions, re-unite with Coach Mariucci and play out the twilight of his career. The Lions can utilize him more than any other team, IMHO and he will enjoy playing in the dome!
~I must admit the thought of Jerry Rice in the Burgundy & Gold, if for only 1 TD catch is a memory worth recalling ~

don't get me wrong, i love LA and its not that i want hime to change... its just time to stop talking and get 'er done.

You people are CRAZY!!!! I say let's pick up Rice!!!! Give him a 7 year deal for about 70-80 mill and around a 15-20 million signing bonus. This makes perfect sense for Danny and Co!!!
