Default WWE Taboo Tuesday!

Did anybody watch the Taboo Tuesday PPV? If so, I have some questions for you.

1. How about Flair at the end of the Legend Killer match? Will Flair leave Evolution?

2. Are they gearing up either Jericho or Shelton Benjamin for a heel turn?

3. How the heck do they let Kane lose to Snitsky (besides the contract dispute)?

4. Is Edge going to join Evolution as Randy Orton's replacement?

5. Does Benoit get to pick a new tag partner, since he pretty much won the titles singlehandedly?

6. Can we send BOTH Carmella and Christy down to OVW for some mat and mic training before we have to see them on TV again?

7. Why was the Diva search only worth $250,000 but the new Superstar search is worth $1,000,000?

8. Is the Hurricane going to go ahead and turn heel already, for crying out loud?

9. Why, Why, Why can't anyone else but HHH have the belt for longer than a month?

Let me know what you think!

When someone else marries the Owner's daughter, they'll have it for more than a month.

Sockm' I had a meeting all during the event. Can you just give me a brief descrip. about what happened.

Here is my take (even though I didn't see it)

1. Obviously I can't comment much on this one, but its time for Evolution to break up. I personally am a HUGE Randy Orton fan! (Such a goodlooking guy... :swoon: He said happy birthday to me when I was at the show *on my B-day* and I still get all giggly and happy when I think about it).

2. I think Benjamin is going to end up turning heal. The face act worked while he was fueding with HHH, but he's been out of the spotlight for too long. He needs a change, and turning heal I think will be the best thing for him. Jericho is too good of a face at the moment. (Love his hair cut!)

3. Kane lost:? damn... I would have at least thought that Lita would have come in and kicked Snitsky's ass.... but a recap on what happened...might explain a little more.

4. Like I said before. I think Evolution has run its course... if they do put Edge in... i think they are only setting themselves up for failure. I guess I just don't like evolution since they kicked my boy out...

5. I aboslutely love Edge. I think he's a great heal! Technically by rules, i don't think he can lose the title.... But it will definately be interesting next week.

6. Ugh! Don't get me started on those two.... :shakes head in disgust: They need to find another character like Victoria, I think she's been one of the best Diva additions.

7. For reason that the 2 new divas show every week. These girls aren't meant to ACTUALLY wrestle. They are just eye candy for the males in the audience.

8. They've been setting it up for a LONG time.... drawing it out a little too much. But i mean he's a superhero... maybe the power of good isn't letting him do that

9. Lets do some math!
HHH + writing the shows+ marriage to the bosses daughter = Unlimited access to the title.

THats just my perspective...feel free to argue (Just not about Randy Orton )

Hey Giddy,

Here is a Q&D rundown of the show courtesy of 1wrestling.com (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE POPUP BLOCKERS FOR THAT SITE!), followed by a brief commentary by yours truly.

Results for Taboo Tuesday are as follows:

Shelton Benjamin beat Chris Jericho to win the Intercontinental Title: A clean match, to boot.

Trish Stratus won the Women's Battle Royal: Surprise, surprise. But what is with Stacey's push lately? She's not a Wrestler, she is a VALET at best.

Snitsky beat Kane in a chain match, but ended up using a steel chair to inflict much more damage than the chain. He did the old "Stomp on the chair around your opponent's throat" bit to win, and then continued the beating after Kane was loaded on the stretcher.

Eugene beat Eric Bischoff in a hair match and shaved his head. Coach tried to stop this from happening, but Mr. McMahon came out and made coach wear a dress and told Bischoff to take it like a man.

Chris Benoit & Edge beat La Resistance to win the tag titles: Actually, it was just Benoit. Edge left halfway through because he was disgusted he didn't win the HHH match.

Christy beat Carmella in a Lingerie pillow fight. Yeah.

Triple H beat Shawn Michaels when Edge interferred and speared Michaels: He was muttering "It should have been me" the whole time.

Randy Orton beat Ric Flair in a steel cage match. Afterwards, Flair gave Orton his due props. I agree, Orton is going to be a big timer, but I think they pushed him a hair too soon. He should have had to work his way through Flair and Batista a few times before he got HHH in the ring for himself, preferably at WM.

So there ya have it. Other questions/thoughts?

Nepotism aside, it's beginning to hurt the company. He has buried everybody except Benoit, and therefore there is nobody left to push... his hording of the title is putting WWE in a very difficult position, talent wise.

Not to be completely shallow... but I don't like him for his "intelligence". I like him for his wrestling abilities, mike skills... and his looks definately don't hurt him in the LEAST!! (But dumb as rocks doesn't qualify as datable, just as a sexy, eye candy type.)

In Orton's defense, he was trying not to break kayfabe (break character) during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, so it was probably fairly difficult for him. I hate it when they do this, they did something similar when Rock hosted SNL, but it goes without saying that Rock is much more comfortable in his performing role than Orton is just yet. Heck, I'm not quite sure how they are pushing him as a face, he still has the old arrogance thing going for him in the ring, which is not usually a face trait. Unless you are Steve Austin.

If they would push Booker T. I might actually start watching WWE again. That or bring back Scott Hall.

Hey TB,

All those belts are as follows:

Since the Brand Extension (Smackdown and Raw), you have 4 championships on Raw and 4 on Smackdown. They are:

Raw: World Title, Intercontinental Title, Tag-Team Title, and Women's Champion.

Smackdown: WWE Title, US Title, Tag-Team Title, and Cruiserweight Champion.

Mr. A$$ (AKA Bad-A$$ Billy Gunn, the 1 Billy Gun, and just Billy) is still active and wrestles on Smackdown, but I think there have been some recent injuries, and he has never quite recovered from the "Billy and Chuck" gay tag team gimmick (and subsequent Same-Sex marraige stunt). Really, he hasn't had his former glory since DX broke up and there were no more New Age Outlaws.

It looks as though Booker T is getting that push, based on last night's SmackDown. They seem to be grooming him for a WWE Title run.

Scott Hall is a long shot. You can never say never in the Wrestling business, but his continued problems with Alcohol (as I understand it, I don't want to bad-mouth him, I like him too) and general attitude aren't earning him many points. Especially without the entire Kliq (HHH, Hall, Nash, X-pac, and Michaels), which was more or less his support system, being there to push for his return.
