Giambi admits to steroid use
It's not very suprising however the admission is. Giambi state he got the steroids from Bonds trainer. The real story isn't whether Giambi took the steroids, everyone is wondering whether Mr. Bonds did. The next few days should be interesting.

I don't think there is any doubt that Bonds did. He never hit 50 homeruns in a season before hitting 73? Give me a break.

Wonder if Bonds ever had any intestinal parasites?

From what I heard on ESPN radio this morning it doesn't look like MLB is going to do anything to Giambi about this. On of their experts was on and said that he'll be a Yankee next year and play.
How are the players and MLB being good role models with this crap going on in the pros!!! The kids are going to see no ramifications to the players and think they can do it too w/o getting in trouble.

I agree GF.
MLB is just as guilty as any player who's using 'roids. I think Bonds is guilty as well. Come on....his personal trainer is dealing them out to others in baseball and Bonds isn't going to try it? Right.

The real problem is that all a player has to do is not admit to using since 2003 and they're off scot free because it was not against the rules until then!!!!
I wish dearly that the Yanks could void Giambi's contract. You Yankee haters should be happy that MLB won't let anything be done to Giambi because it would only help the Yanks.

As much as I hate the fact that he denied it, it showed in his performance and his weight loss. Also ATLEAST he did finally admit it. It seems to be the common thing now to deny it for awhile then admit to it Sheffield did it and now Giambi is.

I may be mistaking but wasn't this story broke from a guy who claims to have seen a transcript from the federal grand jury. From what I've heard all of that information is classified "secret" so this story has not been confirmed yet. Any laywers here please add to this or correct me if I'm wrong.

Grand Jury testimony is confidential and revealing it is a felony. But, as we learned from the Starr investigation, Grand Jury leaks are common and prosecutions for leaking--even when the culprit is known--are rare.

from what im hearing though giambi is still so sick that next year he'll prolly DH cause he isnt in shape to be able to play 1st. i dont see how it will be any easier to bat, but who knows. its looking like its only going to be a matter of time before the truth about bonds is revealed. for awhile i thought he was innocent, but im not so sure now.

I don't think the question is "Is Bonds on steroids?".
The question really is "Can they find enough evidence to prove Bonds is on Steroids?"

I think Bonds has taken a "steriod" but dont they make you easy to injure and hard to heal? He's played through a torn hamstring and other ailements in the last couple years.
I think Giambi has to be the one of the worse free agent signing ever in Baseball.

He's pretty bad, but Albert Belle is a pretty tough mountain to climb.
