This guy makes plays and Gibbs should bad about not having him more involved in the offense. Guess who our threat has been in the redzone this season? That's right, teams look for him and he still finds a way to get it done. If you want a jersey to get, this is the guy. I'm going to get mine.

Everybody in here loves Cooooooooooooley!!
Do you think he has a shot as NFC OROTY??? Am I missing somebody?? Mmm... I think Roy Williams, maybe... Well, he is in the hunt for a probowl spot as FB, as somebody mentioned earlier.

I gotta find me a Cooley jersey too. I've been searching online and can't seem to get my hands on one. Anyway, I liked him when I first read about him and I thought we got a steal in the draft but I didn't think he would come through like he has so far. He's been our security blanket in the end zone. He will continue to improve his blocking as he gets more experience. And Yes, he is what Joe Gibbs refers to as being a true "Redskin".

Go to nfl.com. order a blank redskins jersey and put in his name and number. that's how I got mine.

I love Cooley. I was stoked when we got him ever since draft day. There was just something about him and I just thought...well, if Gibbs watned to trade a second rounder for this kid, he'll work out just fine. And he did. He leads the team in recieving TDs and potentally has more. Seems like Ramsey only throws to Cooley, Portis/Betts, and Coles/McCants/whoever lines up at right WR. Good stuff Joe, he's one of our only threats in our offense. Hopefully his yards increase though. Based on pro bowl voting that's his only weakness, cuz he has like 4 more TDs than anyone else on that whole list.

Nice post! I agree with your off-season strategy too...we especially need help at Center. I think that's the weak point on the line. I think the performance of the D-line can teach everyone a lot of lessons...We don't need high-profile vets making high-profile dollars...sometimes journeymen with a desire to prove they belong in the league can get you more.

I must admit, looking at the last two drafts, we walked out with Sean Taylor, Chris Cooley, Taylor Jacobs, and Derrick Dockery. Not a bad job by the front office. We have got some great vets on this team, I think it is now time to focus in on the draft, keep draft picks, and fill the holes on this team through the draft. We have an excellent mix of young and vets.
My ultimate off-season:
Draft a C, DE, and TE
Free Agency: Depth on OLine and DLine (Cheap, Veteran depth)
Resign Fred Smoot, Restructure and Extedn Chris Samuels.
