For once, the ESPN Power Poll doesn't say something negative!
Hurray!
We moved up a spot from 25 to 24, and this is what was said:
"As disappointing as this season has been, the Redskins don't need to get that much better to be right in the playoff hunt in the NFC next season."
I hope they are right

I guess a win against Dallas will move the 'skins up one spot at least.

I didn't even know ESPN did a power poll. I tend to just read the world's most prestigious power poll and leave it at that. |

I think we could be one scary team in the playoffs. With our defense we can play with anyone. So I woud not want us to be in the playoffs

What I'm saying is that this one is saying that even the guys over at ESPN think that our team has some serious potential and is only a few steps away from being a great team. |

You give ESPN too much credit, they are really just observing how bad the NFC is. Had they said contending for the NFC East, then maybe I would agree with you.

If we make the playoffs, I could see us making it to the NFC championship game against the Igles. Then, with a little bit of luck, taddah!! Superbowl here we come. But, maybe I am just getting a little ahead of myself here.

Whoa there. We have not proven yet we can beat a playoff caliber team. We beat the 2-11 49ers. We proved we can play with playoff caliber teams, like Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, but we have yet to prove we can win. |
