Default LenDale White? Anyone get a chance to see him w/USC tonight?

I see his stats and size (easily used as a short yardage fullback and not a top pick for the draft. I am thinking a #3 or #4 maybe even #5).

21 LenDale White RB 6-2 235 SO (1V) Denver, CO (Chatfield HS)

Avg. 5.4 yds - just under 1,000 for the season.

Ive seen him play in virtually every game this year and he has never impressed me. But to be honest hes surrounded by so much talent--Reggie Bush in particular, the only reason I watched SC games--its easy for a guy like that to get lost in the shuffle.

But tonight he looked big and bruising, a real handful for anyone. Not a bad guy to look in the later rounds or as an undrafted FA.

Thanks and the description of "what" he can do on 3rd and 3 on down is what I was interested in. Also, being used as straight ahead blocker on goal line and 3 point kicks.

Hes a good North South runner. Tough guy. Hes always moving foward, so he would be ideal in short yardage situations.

Ladell Betts will continue to be the primary backup to Portis. I don't think we are going to draft a 3rd string RB with so many other needs. Just MO, however.
