Not sure where those are. Maybe behind the goal post or somewhere in the obstructed view seats.

When you're the second highest ticket in the NFL it's even tough for Snyder to raise prices when you're not winning. Thanks Danny! I'm coming back for season #4!
But PLEASE put in some of those awesome wide-screen TV screens the other stadiums have!!!

I actually have the $44 seats. It's nice to know I have the worst seats in the house. Section 415, row 29.

Arrington to go through Arbitration
also in the article..
Quote:
Arrington Seeks Arbitration
Despite public comments hinting that he would drop his contract grievance against the Redskins, linebacker LaVar Arrington still is seeking an arbitration hearing date, according to the NFL and the NFL Players Association.
The arbitration hearing over a $6.5 million bonus had been scheduled for Nov. 2 but was postponed because of a scheduling conflict with one of the NFL's lawyers. Arrington has contended that deadline pressure prevented his agent, Carl Poston, from properly examining an eight-year, $68 million contract extension signed in December 2003. According to sources familiar with the situation, Poston faces disciplinary measures pending the outcome of the hearing.

The Redskins reportedly denied the Denver Broncos permission to interview safeties coach Steve Jackson for the position of secondary coach.
Although the job would have been a promotion, NFL rules require permission for assistants for all prospective positions except head coach. .

According to sources familiar with the situations, there have been no developments regarding the contracts of linebacker Antonio Pierce and cornerback Fred Smoot. Pierce is expected to be re-signed, and Smoot appears likely to switch to another team.

No obstructions, just far as hell from the field. My theory is that I was the last guy to come off the waiting list and got those seats. Still nice to go the games.

Here's a question, as the waiting list moves each year are you given the opportunity to upgrade your seats each year accordingly? Just curious...

The way I understand it, seat holders need to request seat upgrades in writing to be considered for a seat upgrade after each season.

Oh boy are you opening a can of worms...here's how it works
They basically cut a circle around the upper deck from row 16-up (if I remember this correctly). Seats that are vacated from those sections (either from people not renewing or moving to better seats) are filled mainly from folks on the waiting list. My first year I ended up in 427 row 22 (I think)..anyway it was corner endzone 3 rows from the top on the home side. Rows 15 and below are quasi-reserved for existing ticket holders to upgrade into. Yes, you do need to go on the upgrade list and you used to have to do that annually, but last year the office said they've computerized that list and once you're on, you're on....I'd still request upgrades each year by phone.
If you're up for an upgrade, if it's major...a section move...they'll let you know and you can see your seats, etc....if it's a row improvement in the same section they may move you without notification.
Now here's the rub....they play TONS of games with seats. The most recent deal is pulling a bunch of available seats out of the "kiddie" and giving them a "premium seat" label and assigning them to tailgate club ownership. Basically if you want to play their games you can improve your seat location VERY quickly, but you gotta pay up and deal with the consequences. I joined the tailgate club and was one of the fortunate few that didn't have to forfeit their seat location after cancelling the tailgate club....no more. But I did move from 427 to 402. I did this two years ago. I was not offered an upgrade last year, other than the lower level obstructed view seats, which I obviously passed on.
Everyone has got their theories and what they like as far as sightlines, upper level vs. lower level, etc and they'll offer you various deals to get "downstairs", so you've just got to listen, do your homework and make a decision on what you want to do. Now I can say that I have some friends who got seats 2 years ago and we're given a row upgrade after just one year, so it's not like you'll be up there forever.
Good luck and feel free to contact me if you want more details on my experiences.

Glad to hear they are not raising prices. I pay $79 and that's plenty. It's actually not too bad considering what it cost to go to an NBA game. I have the '82 NFC Championship game ticket framed in my basement. I think it was like $25. Oh well.
Edit: I just looked and the ticket price was $17. I think I got money money's worth!

In six years I've been upgraded 3X's ......... the last one is like BandWagon is talking about. I had to join the TailgateClub to move my four seats from the upper deck to the lower deck. NOW the move I made was fantastic because my current seats (section 104 row 29) require NO steps up or down - I mean I enter the stadium (seating area) turn right and my seats are RIGHT there. ........... The down side - TAILGATE CLUB. That adds $45/seat/game to my bill (not to mention the one time $1800 initial fee) and my seats are $79/game.
In theory, the TGC is a great idea BUT the reality of it is - the food is mediocre at best (for $45/person it ought to be the best BBQ place in the Washington Metro area), the PA system is way too loud, and the layout makes for a very congested area which is often hard to navigate. In addition, they could replace the tented areas with actual structures with heat with the money they make from it. …….. Bottom line – the WORST Redskins managed operation in the organization.
Only a stupid fan like me would pay for this – OH well, I guess the flip side of this is NOT having season tickets – and believe me, around this time of year it becomes a REAL decision for me! ……… $5210 could buy me a real nice 60” plasma or LCD HDTV.

THe obstructed seats are in the 200 section of the lower bowl. They are discounted, but the original ticket price in 200 is still higher than row 29 of the upper level. Hence, the obstructed seats are not the lowest paid in the building.
