Jean Carlos Chera, a 9-year-old who is 4-foot-6, is attracting interest from Manchester United and other top European teams. Chera, who weighs 77 pounds, currently plays for the youth teams of Associacao Desportiva Atletica, a small club in the southern Brazilian state of Parana.

They are looking at these kids at a younger and younger age.

Come on....a nine year old is attracting attention from Manchester United?
That is almost as bad as the beauty pagents they have in the south for the 0 - 15 month infants...

I saw a video of him, and he is unbelievable. Forget freddy adu, this kid is barely potty-trained, and he is unbelievable. By the way split, soccer is the 2nd best sport on earth. Football is still better.

They mentioned this on PTI. I hate the Sports Machine. It's really just another form of child exploitation. Just let him be a kid.

There's a new UEFA ruling passed today that affects all clubs participating in European competition that's going to encourage just this kind of thing.

In what way is he unbelievable...? It's one thing at that age to be able to juggle the ball 10,000 times, it's totally another to be able to dominate the opposition on a football pitch...
