Default Terps/Cavs - Double OT

What a great and entertaining game last night. TWO Overtimes...(and almost a third. Definitely an emotional loss to UVA...

Too bad UVA coulnd't hit a free throw to save their lives.

I'm really starting to feel bad for Pete Gillen.

Me too. I went to the umd-uva game in charlottesville last year and all the non-students were getting on him. it really isn't his fault at all. He has brought some great players to UVA like Sean Singeltary, and Gary Forbes. I think UVA will contend in what will be a weaker acc next year with all the players who could leave early.

Foul shots difference in this game ...... can't understand why coaches do not make this a top priority.

If you didn't know who Singeltary was before this game...you sure do now! He was shakin and bakin all night to create shots.

I can't wait to see him develop into an even better player down the road...

The problem is that you really can't simulate a game situation with free throws. If you could then there wouldn't be any nba players who shoot 50% from the line. Personally, i can't understand how people miss so many free throws. I'm an average player and i can hit 2/3 of mine, so you'd think a division 1 athlete who was heavily recruited in high school would have learned at some time in his basketball life how to shoot free throws.

My heart couldn't take a 3rd OT.

That was an emotional game.

I would have to agree with Patrick and dj about UVA's free throws.
