4.59 and 4.61. Says "still likely a first rounder". Good news for us (I think).

Wow! I loved what little I've seen from this kid and this doesn't dimish that one bit.

Our fivesome believes that Hampton's Jerome Mathis, who ran somewhere between 4.25 and 4.29 in the 40, ran the fastest 40 in the history of the combine.

The key here is that not everyone runs at the combine.
However, not everyone gets a chance to run at the combine.

I know but a kid that can set a record on what is considered a slow track... Not bad. I take anyone's time from a "pro day" with a boulder sized grain of salt.

C Ben Wilkerson still is recovering from a patellar tendon injury suffered late last season and won't work out; Wilkerson also likely won't be ready for the LSU pro day on the 9th...

I was watching the NFL combine on NFL network and saw Matt Jones (6'6" 240, I believe) ran a 4.43 it was unoffical but still wow that is fast. They say they are looking at him at wr and te. Wow 3rd round maybe at wr..wow

2nd run he ran a 4.37, all the draft gurus here how far will he fall? made an awesome catch in the endzone

6'6" 240ish and runs a 4.37 and has good hands wow

The Arkansas QB has also been tried as an H-Back and Longsnapper.

Im guessing the other times he turned in were "unofficial" so maybe the 4.29 was the "official" time.

Very interesting.

Quote:
Former Florida State quarterback Adrian McPherson, who played for the Indiana Firebirds of the Arena League last year, looked better then any quarterback on the field Sunday. McPherson was accurate and displayed a big-league arm. His deep outs were right on the money and the athletic passer has now moved into the draft's first day.
