Default Possible 2nd round WR - Fred Gibson?

This is a big if...cause the skins may not trade down.

BUT, someone put Fred Gibson from Georgia in their mock as a 3rd rounder to the skins. Most draft sites say he is going in the 2nd.

If we do have a 2nd round pick and take a CB or DE in the 1st, is this guy worth it, or is he just another not bad WR to stick in the depth chart...I havent seen his name much and he looks decent. size, speed. but not the most consistent and prone to injuries.

I dont watch much college ball, so anyone who has actually seen him play should post (i've read all the draft site reviews - see links below)

I think he has great hands...but round 2 maybe a bit high...Roddy White...or Vincent Jackson.

If MW isn't there at #9, which is increasingly likely, it would see, I'd be happy to see Gibson or Vincent Jackson in the burgundy & gold.

Sorry, Joe. I can't handle another WR named Rod just yet. It's still too soon.

I like the looks of White. He has a bit of the buzz around the draft web sites. Even though he comes from a lesscompetitive program, perhaps a better deal than Gibson overall - more upside, less downside.

Hopefully he is still there if we are able to get a 2nd rounder...
