Default Interesting... Basketball Player Invited to Skins Camp

Looks like we are not closing the door on finding the 2005 "Antonio Gates". Does anyone know anything about Troutman?

LINK

(Yes it is a slow news day.)

I remember alittle about him, but I haven't followed big east basketball in awhile. He was a decent rebounder and has good athletic ability. But at 6'6 and playing power forward, he's probably better of focusing on being a TE. If he can catch, he'll be a great find.

Kiper was raving about this guy's physical ability. He probably wont be Gates, but if he gets 5 Td catches, Ill be very happy.

Love that height, physique, hands are BIG! He's very athletic, so transitioning isn't awkward for someone like him. He's a fluid kind of athlete.
Not that he's a Deion Sanders, but he can play either sports with ease.

Troutman is sweet. Going to syracuse, we would see him a lot, slimmed down and lot and is more cut than ever, great hands, actually has one the highest fg% in ncaa history

Troutman goes to my former college the University of Pittsburgh. I remember ESPN running something on him awhile back that NFL teams were interested in him.

He's a good basketball player and overall consenus is that he is an excellent athlete. I am happy they are giving him a shot.
