East is a Beast
I don't know about you guys, but I can't see a better division than the NFC East. It was that way for years. I think this season the NFC East will be the most competitive it has been for a long time.
I believe OUR Redskins are much improved, but the same can be said about the Cowgirls with Newman and Parcells. The Eagles drafted defensive line help after losing Hugh Douglas. McNabb seems to be back at full-strength. The Giants have a young defense with Joseph and the secondary. Keith Hamilton should be back, too. They also didn't really lose anyone. Shockey helped Toomer and Hilliard and Barber have career years.
So I really think there's no better division in the NFL. That's the way it should be.
Here are two questions.
Who is the best offensive player in the NFC East?
Who is the best defensive player in the NFC East?

Nah, I still think the NFC East is not part of the strongest, but competitive wise, if the Redskins have a season I suspect they can, man the battle between Philly and Washington will make it one of the most competitive. Thing is, from year to year, no one really knows how to judge the Giants.

I believe several things about the NFC East for this season:
1. The Giants will win it.
2. The Redskins and Eagles will both be above .500.
3. The Cowboys will not.
4. Two playoff teams will come from it.
There'll be a fight between Philly and Washington over a wild card spot, and it'll be close. Hopefully we'll eek it out.
Best division in football? No, that title could go to the AFC East, AFC West, or NFC South. Not us. Not yet anyway.
The best offensive player in the division is McNabb. The best defensive player is.... Hmmm... Well, I'd say it's a draw between Arrington, Strahan, and Dawkins. Bailey could be up there as well.

You guys really think the Gints are gonna win the division?
It took them career years from Tiki, Toomer, and Collins simultaneously just to get to the wild card round last season.
I am not sure I agree with that prediction.

I don't agree with the Giants winning it either. What Mark said about not knowing year end and year out what they will do pretty much sums up my thoughts in regards to them also.

Personally, I think that PHILLY is the team to beat this year. I think that they will have a huge chip on their shoulder for letting Tampa Bay come into their crib last year and "Pimp slap them into the fetal position". Second place is up for grabs, but I think that Dallas will finish last

I agree The Eagles are the team to beat but they can not keep getting raided during free agency and stay on top, but with McNabb there they will always be a threat to win hte division
McNabb....hopefully Ramsey nesxt season
I will go with Champ as defensive guy

I'm not sure about the Eagles. Teams will catch on to them. The Giants are hard to figure out. I don't think they're as good as the record indicated last season. I do believe we have a chance at a wildcard spot though.
Best offensive player McNabb, best defensive player ahhhh Arrington. Had to go with the home team.

the gap is closing for the eagles and even if they do win the nfc east again, we know that they wont be going to the superbowl!! chokers! until the eagles stop being cheap or hard headed or whatever it is that is stopping them from getting mcnabb some weapons, they will never be unbeatable. now that the gi-aints have fixed their special teams problems, i think they have the chance to overtake the eagles as nfc east champs. but like a few of you have stated, the giants are way too inconsistent, so we will see about that. the redskins are vastly improved and IMO have the chance to battle for a wildcard if all goes right. the cowboys are improved as well but i dont think parcells will be able to save them this year. overall, 3 outta 4 teams have gotten better and the division should be much more competitive than it has been for the last 2-3 years.

The "Gint's" win the division - barely - not by great team effort - but by sheer dumb luck!. The "Igles" burn up from lack of consistency- tho McNabb has a good year. The "Cowgirls" and the Tuna flounder along at the bottom - but beware - the Tuna learns quickly!
The Redskins finish 10 -6 grab a wildcard.
McNabb is a solid offensive player this year- bar injury - and LaVar lights it up under Coach Edwards improved defensive scheme.
My 2 cents!
