Default Tom Brady signs 6yr extention

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200....ap/index.html

Quote:
BOSTON (AP) -- The New England Patriots have signed quarterback Tom Brady to a six-year extension worth $60 million, a deal that for the first time brings the two-time Super Bowl MVP's salary in line with his accomplishments.

The extension was reported by ESPN and confirmed to The Associated Press on Saturday night by a football source, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Looks like he is going to be averaging 10mil a year for the next 6 years.

He deserves it. He also didn't cry after his first SB demanding more money. I can't say a bad thing about him.

yeah, but with 3 superbowels that he's won for that team, doesnt it sound a lot better than the 100+ million that vick, culpepper, mcnabb, and peyton are getting for much less results?

I agree, he actually played well enough to earn a raise. He could have gotten a lot more than that if he was so minded. True class guy

Tom Brady is the best QB in the NFL, but he is smart enough to know that a $100MM deal will only keep the team from having talent around him.

I couldnt agree more. This is a great point as to why Indy & Philly cant get her done. Along with Atlanta not getting their yet.
