A big mistake, IMO. Your just wasting time to develop a young QB.

They didn't give him 4 mil to carry a clipboard and Denny Green wants to win yesterday, I don't know if Warner can help though.

Warner will suck even worse than he did in NY. If he wants to win in Arizona, not only does he need a miracle, but lots of patience as well.

I would try to develop McCown and see what he has, or else they might find themselves in a similar situation to ours last year with Brunell. Warner is just as washed up. He should be a backup.

noooooo, Warner is no Brunell. Warner did pretty good especially considering the team he had around him. The giants actually had a shot at the playoffs until they put Eli Manning.

Why did they bench Warner then?

Not being sarcastic. Honestly, I don't remember.

to be honest, the only logical reason would have to be Eli Manning, although that never seemed like a logical move. i believe they were 5-2 when they benched Warner. then.... well.... then ended 6-10. Right about now, Warner does not seem like too bad of an idea as a starter. But my opinion doesnt matter much until i have Akh's Opinion backing me up

Warner is washed up and McCown sucks, thats it in a nutshell. Arizona will be 7-9, maybe 8-8 at best and the beat goes on and so do the beatings.

Warner will be this year's Brunell, maybe not as bad but this guy is not a playoff caliber QB anymore. Yeah he may have done well in his brief stint for the Giants but I doubt he'll stay healthy enough or carry a team when he needs to anymore.

If Warner is still starting when we play them I expect to see an un-holy amount of blitzes thrown at him.

He didn't play that well at the end in St. Louis. Kurt Warner came out of nowhere to do some amazing things, but it seems he has faded just as quickly. He'll be ok with the Cardinals, but certainly doesn't strike fear in defenses.

Dennis Green doesn't think McCown can get it done and he believes that Warner has a little left in the tank. In my opinion, Warner outplayed Manning in NY last year and with the Cards he will have a better receiving corps and a better passing game.
The question is: do the Cards have a good enough o-line to keep Warner standing upright?

Then we better hope to do at least as well as them or what does it say about us?

I give Warner until week 6.
