Your favorite Sports movie.
Which one of these are your all-time favorite sports movie?
There are a number of great movies that I left off due to choices. One of my all time favs is "Rudy". Some others are The Replacements, A league of their own, No where Alaska, and several others that I can't think of right now.

Hey Mike, there's a Rocky movie on right now on ESPN Classic.
I voted for Slap Shot. I'm huge hockey fan and I love the in your face action of the movie. Great, great movie.

This may be a corney one... but I have always liked "Hoosiers" with Gene Hackman... that movie was awesome. (Perhaps it is because I relate to the dude who shot the under-handed freethrow???)

I really like Oliver Stone's Any Given Sunday. Remember the titans was quite good also.

I went with "Bull Durham." That movie makes me laugh a lot. The first 30 minutes of "White Man Can't Jump" is sublime.

As a kid, I loved hockey movies such as Slap Shot and Youngblood. Field of Dreams is a pretty damn good one too.
But...my favorite from the last 5 years has to be Remember the Titans. 4 of the past 5 years, I lived near "T.C. Williams High School", which is the Alexandria, VA school that the movie was about. Opening weekend, as my wife and I stood in line to see the movie, they opened up the theater doors for the exiting audience...and the ENTIRE TCWilliams football team exited. (The current team) They were all wearing their jerseys and were PUMPED up beyond belief. It made watching the movie afterwards that much greater...

Gotta go with Remember the Titans. I was hoping to be all original and say it first, but oh well. Incredible movie. Just incredible. Outdoes the Replacements, outdoes Any Given Sunday, outdoes Rudy. If you like football, you need to see this movie.
