The Official Happy Independence Day Thread
I'd like to wish all of the members here and serving abroad,a Happy 4th of July!!!
It's the time of year when we,as a country,celebrate our independence from the likes of people like General Disorder!!! 
I'm posting this early for those who may have travel plans,such as myself,I'm heading to the Mayan Riviera[Mexico]and I may not have time to post it later.
So,if your traveling be safe and watch out for the other guy.
This weekend has the highest alcohol related deaths, of all holidays combined,including with the Super Bowl added to the statistics.
So have fun and be safe!!!

You're going to Mexico for the Fourth? I did that once, and was sad I wasn't in the States for it, even though you can get some great fireworks.

At the family bbq yesterday, I had an eye opening experience. I was inside helping put out some food with my cousin and my uncle who NEVER drinks was sitting at the table with a beer. I sat down next to him and asked how he was doing. After a little talking, he told me that he was having a beer for all of the friends he lost fighting next to him at Vietnam. And so we had a toast, to his fallen friends, and to mine still over in Iraq fighting. The day is about more than just the country's birthday, its about all of those who fought and are still fighting today to keep us free. So thank you to all soldiers, past and present, and Happy 4th to all of you and your families. Stay safe and have fun.
