You know if fans are going to do something like a towel or the like, it's probably better to do it one or two contiguous sections. Basically it would the fans themselves getting together and branding an entire section of the stadium. How cool would that be? Getting back to the POWWOW idea (or pick any other Indian place/theme) and make it our own. A la Dawg Pound. Heck, I'd even go so far as to having a banner made to hang on the rail in front of my seats declaring the name of the section. That's another thing that is dramatically different from RFK....almost no banners to speak of....just a scattering. They used to hang from ever angle at RFK like old curtains.

maybe that's a good way to start...give people in different sections something to be proud of and get excited about...what are some good banners that we can put up?

This didn't happen to be the Monday night game last year against Dallass did it?

Except for the sitting in the seats part, I already do that. Standing during important times and cheering your team on is what separates football from... church.

BINGO......this is the key. Blame the season ticket holder's who don't go and then sell their tickets on Ebay ot stubhub or something. Give up the tickets to real fans who want to be at the game.

They should hand out burgandy and gold shirts before certain games, the entire stadium in redskin colors would be a sight to see, that would be sweet if they made the bleachers bounce up and down along the 50 yard line like they did at RFK, that was the memory that i most remember about that stadium, the first time i witnessed it i thought the entire stadium was gonna come down. haha, and on the score board if it told us how loud we were getting more fans would likely try to make more noise to see how high it could get.

Like some others have already said, the Skins start winning and Fed Ex will rock.

You can't manufacture the atmosphere that RFK had when the Skins were winning.
Personally, I could do without the fireworks and explosions during the introductions, they always scare the hell out of me. And I don't care for the "Braveheart" speech's on the video screen like at Basketball games or any other gimmick to get people geeked up.

Put a team on the field that plays good and wins and the fans will do their part.

Well that was a good question and funny I was stumped. I follow what you said and also we can understand the solemness that befalls a crowd after so many ups and downs (downs had been many). What the crowd needs to do, is what they did in the Minnesota game. Drench the opposition with noise from jump and don't stop till the game is done!
