prediction time one more time
I made a thread after the season ended and before any free agent pick ups asking what the redskins record would be this season, I believe the majority said 8-8.
After our great offseason, what does everyone think now?

I think with the upgrades this team has made they are a legit 11-5 team, but i voted fro 10-6 because of the harshness of the schedule

I still say 8-8. Remember we were 7-9 last year, so, 8 wins would be an improvement. I want OBC to prove me wrong, and show that he has managed to learn clock management. I won't believe it until I see it. The iggles and gints will be too much, we might get 1 win out of those 4 games, but we should own the 5-11 cowroids!

You read my mind ! Voted 10-6, but with a good performance from SP Teams we will see 11-5. Schedule is not easy but then again this 2003 version of the 'Skins is a hell of a lot better than anything in the last four years!

Then if we're going by past performances, we've only one of the past 11 games vs the cowpatties.
I expect a MUCH better season this year!!!
If you look at Spurrier's record, he has a history of doing poorly the first year then doing well his second year, and great his third year.

what no 16-0 ?!?!?!?! hahahaah just kidding I surprised you didn't have that as one of the choices. Look we are better than last year no doubt! barring any injuries, I would be happy with a 9-7 record, who knows maybe that gets us in the playoffs. BUt anything less than 8-8 and I would be very dissapointed. but with all this talk about how the season depends on Ramsey, I think with the tools he has now and a full offseason to work on it its Spurrier who will determine if we have a good season or not, how he ralies his troops for this season will probably dictate the rest of his pro-ball coaching career. YOu watch.

With a salary cap, and massive amounts of injuries as well as parody, we'll never see a 16-0 season. You just can't have the depth you would want. 14-2 is even pushing it...but you're only allowed 10 choices. If we can't manage 5wins, we don't deserve a poll anyway.
I'll be happy with a 9-7 season...at least then we'll be right in the thick of the playoff race. I can deal with that. I still say 11-5 though.

I went with 9-7. I am being conservative I know but we do have one tough schedule and alot of these guys will be playing with eachother for the first time.

My original projection was 9-7...but I've gained some confidence in the Skins over the past month or so. (regardless of how hard the first 1/2 of our schedule is)
I going to go out and project a 10 - 6 record with a wild card spot in the playoffs. A 9-7 record would be acceptable, but I think our team is too talented for that...

I said 10-6 before (I think) so I'm going with it again.
10-6
We will improve by 3 wins this year....Our schedule was much harder last year than it is this year.

At this point and time, 9-7 seems to me to be the more realistic prediction. I would like to go higher but don't see it....yet.

I find this interesting that the average pick moved up 2 wins. The majority of the picks were 8-8 with 7-9 coming in close second. Now it's 10-6 taking the lead with 9-7 doing pretty well.
Amazing how an offseason can win us two more games (at least in our minds).
